How to signup?

1. Go to www.AgentMaxOnline.com in CHROME and click on the “Create New Account” link.

2. Enter your email address, your Boardwalk Travel ACCAM number (F212622), click “Verify” and then “Next”.

3. You will receive a confirmation email with a link from Allianz. Click on the link to complete the registration process.

4. Fill in the information being requested (You can use your name or unique agency code/identifier for your AGENT ID). You choose your recovery questions and password. (Boardwalk wants you to use your name)

5. Answer the set up questions, click “Save” or “Update” and you are done. Log out, and when you type www.AgentMaxOnline.com the next time, Chrome should ask if you want to save the password. Say yes and after that you just click Log-In for access.

1. Go to User Options to check your:
Profile & Preferences – verify your contact info & choose “Turn on Notifications” to be alerted of an electronic sale from a quote. Check “Receive Copy of Confirmations” if you wish to receive a copy of the policy we send your client.

Address & Logo –be sure the information displays correctly.
2nd Chance by MaxMail if you would like automated reminders to go to clients after quotes.

Interface Settings allow a Live Connect set up with Sabre and ClientBase. Contact [email protected] providing your ACCAM number.

2. Complete the “Get Quote” box to get your quote. All available products will display vertically.

3. Choose “Select” to quote that product in about 4 seconds.
Either “Save” to save it or “Email” to email it.

Carnival specializes in fun, laid-back, family-friendly cruises.

Book and train for Carnival Cruise Line. When booking a Carnival Cruise, you are given the option for “send confirmation” and you can choose either “Main Agency” which goes to an unmonitored folder for the agency, or “GoCCL Profile” which goes to the email address you have on your profile.
You can also choose to have the guest copy sent to those same options, plus you can enter the guest’s email address to have the guest copy sent to them. It is important that you select “GoCCL Profile” for the Agency copy and Guest Copy, plus add the guest’s email address for the guest copy to be sent as well.

Excursions:

No commission for excursions – Use Viator or TAAP.

Guests booked with our Inbound/Outbound Consumer Sales Department may decide to work with a travel agent; at the direct guest’s request, a travel agency may takeover the booking with the following policy in place:
A Travel Agency may take over a direct booking made through any FIT direct channel as long as the transaction happens no later than 90 days after the booking is made or prior to the penalty period (whichever occurs first). If the booking is made within penalty period, the agency has 24 hours from the time the booking is made to call in and take over the reservation.
* The travel agent will need to provide Service with all the pertinent booking information which includes: Booking number / Guest's name / Stateroom number / Sail date.
* The travel agent must be able to provide the PIN Number - this was provided by the direct at the time of booking; bookings made on carnival.com will not have a PIN number to provide. If there is no PIN Number or the agent cannot provide one, the Service agent will contact the direct guest to verify that the booking takeover is acceptable.

CLIA logo - how to become a travel agent

CLIA is the world’s largest cruise industry trade association, providing a unified voice and leading authority of the global cruise community. Apply for your CLIA Travel Agent Card and complete additional cruise sales training.  

CLIA memberships are not required to book travel and earn commission. It is only required to use the agent benefits that our suppliers offer. They close their enrollment from about September to November of every year, it can vary. No new memberships may be purchased during this time. Once it opens back up you can purchase your next year’s membership. Please be patient, it will open back up and you can apply for your card at that time.

How to signup?

Follow this link to join CLIA. You must register as an Individual Agent then associate yourself with Boardwalk Travel Agency using our company CLIA. You do not need your CLIA card to be an agent, book travel or earn Commissions.

The CLIA card is for "ACTIVE" agents only. Boardwalk allows new agents in their first year (CLIA year) to obtain the CLIA card without any sales requirements.

Agents must have completed their new agent call before they can obtain their CLIA card.

After the initial year (CLIA year expires on 12/31 each year), agents are required to have commissioned bookings and be active in the agency.

Please do not attempt to get your CLIA card if you haven't met the requirements. Your request will be denied and no refund will be given.

CLIA Card Requirements:
- 2 commissioned bookings in the year (Mears, Viator, TAAP activities, and Scooterbug do not count)
- New agent call completed
- Joined the Facebook group
- Added additional suppliers

With Expedia TAAP, travel agents can maximize their earnings with access to a wide range of quality travel products and world class booking experiences. Book Air, land, international, packages, activities and much more using the TAAP platform.

Book anything on Expedia TAAP (Travel Agent Affiliate Program) and complete your training.

Make sure after you’ve created your account that you login and click on your name at the top. That should say Boardwalk Travel Agency and tracking code WS48559. If it doesn’t, please contact us immediately so we can get you switched over. Do not make any bookings until that tracking code is showing on your account. Make sure that you are always booking on the Expedia TAAP site with the black banner at the top. Any bookings made on the consumer Expedia site can not be transferred and are not eligible to earn commission. If you have a consumer Expedia account, you’ll need to use a different email address to create your Expedia TAAP account. You can’t use the same email address for both accounts.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES
Make sure you secure a case number when you call into sales support. On the call, please ask for a case number (it will start with the letter “S”). You will need this case number in order to send it to the TAAP escalation team.

What is ETIAS?

The European Travel Information and Authorization System or ETIAS is a new travel documentation system that the EU is implementing for passport holders of 59 countries including the U.S.A. Most countries in the EU will require travelers to apply for ETIAS before visiting.

How do I apply for ETIAS?

You will apply for ETIAS on their main website. Note that they are currently not requiring travelers to submit applications at this time. Anyone traveling closer to mid 2025 should check their website for updates.

What’s required to apply for ETIAS?

Your clients will need to provide a valid passport (with at least 3 months of validity left and traveling before it expires). They will also need to pay a €7 application fee per person.

What type of travel requires ETIAS?

Your clients will need to apply for ETIAS if they are flying into a country that requires it or plan to step foot in a country that requires it. This includes guided travel, cruises and river cruises. The supplier will provide more information about ETIAS and what is required of the client before or after the booking.

Do my clients have to apply for ETIAS everytime they travel to EU countries?

No. ETIAS is valid for 3 years or until your clients passports expire; whichever comes first. If your clients renew their passport, they will then need to reapply for ETIAS before visiting most EU countries.

How can I apply for ETIAS on behalf of my clients?

As a Travel Professional you can apply for ETIAS on behalf of your clients. You will go through the same application process as anyone except there will be an extra step where both the client(s) and yourself will sign a declaration of representation stating that that all parties understand you are filing on their behalf and will do so correctly.

In some cases it may be easier to have your clients apply themselves with you walking them through the steps of doing so.

When should I apply for ETIAS?

You should apply for ETIAS BEFORE you purchase tickets or make reservations.

Most applications will be processed within minutes and at the latest within 96 hours. However, some applicants may be asked to provide additional information or documentation or to participate in an interview with national authorities, which may take up to additional 30 days.

Earn Up to 14% Commission

  • New travel agencies or agencies who have not made an active reservation since January 2019 are eligible for PRIME commission level. Make a second booking within one year to increase to the BASIC 5% level and we will also retroactively increase your first reservation to 5% commission. Upon your agency’s 3rd booking within one year, you will earn 10% and we will also retroactively increase your first 2 reservations to get 10% as well. After 10 bookings within a year, your agency will earn 12% commission. And as always, earn a bonus 2% when booking online (web).
  • Commission is sent by check to the address we have on file for the agency and is processed approximately 2-3 weeks after passengers return home from their trip.
  • Promotions: Reservations involving any kind of discount (Promo Code, Book By Promotional Pricing, etc.) are limited to 10% commission. Some larger promotions, such as percent-based promotions, may limit commission to 5%.
  • Limits: Friends & Family bookings are limited to 5% commission if a free travel benefit is earned. Reservations not originally made by the agency are also capped at 5%. Group reservations are limited to 10% commission. Reservations made with a voucher (i.e. Groupon) do not receive any commission. Certain package components, such as airfare or rail, are non-commissionable and subject to change.

Please note that dates and Theme Park selections are limited and subject to availability.
