Platinum Annual Pass Members receive one-time (per day after 3pm) express access to each ride (excluding Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge), attraction, and seated show, and one-time (per day after 3pm) reservation-free entry into SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ when reservations are required to enter the land.* Express access and reservation-free entry valid after 3pm. Platinum Pass Universal Express privileges are not valid for separately ticketed events including Halloween Horror Nights.
For all new purchases on or after November 1, 2022, Platinum Annual Passes will have new restrictions to the one-time (per day after 3pm) Universal Express benefit. Express access will not include Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge. It will however include a one-time (per day after 3pm) reservation-free entry into SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ when reservations are required to enter the land.
This change in benefit will also apply to all Platinum Month-to-Month FlexPay members, which will apply beginning on Dec 2, 2022. A 30-day notification email was sent to affected members on Nov 1, 2022.
Guests who purchased their Platinum Pass in-full prior to November 1, 2022 and still within the first year of their validity term will continue to receive one-time (per day after 3pm) express privileges for each ride, attraction and seated show. They will be able to use their Express access for both the land and the Mario Kart™ ride until their current pass expires.

Additional restrictions may apply, including that guests using this Pass in the future may be required to make an advanced reservation for each visit date on an available day. Reservations are subject to availability and may be limited to one at a time per pass member with a new reservation becoming possible after the previous reserved date has passed. Reservation capacity for Pass Members may be limited and, within 48 hours of a visit date, reservations for that date may close. Reservations once made cannot be rescheduled or reset until the reserved date has passed. Additional terms may apply. Annual Pass Policies & Conditions

Pass Policies

Tickets are non-refundable.
Pass will be valid for 12 months starting from the date selected.
Except the California Neighbor Pass which is valid for 9 months.
If the guest is attending prior to date selected, the pass will expire one year from that visit date.
The pass is valid for use on the day of expiration until Park close.
Black-Out dates do not apply on first visit. All subsequent visits are subject to Black-Out calendar.
Park entry not guaranteed on high attendance days.
During the first visit, guests must bring their voucher directly to the front gate entrance (turnstile).
Photo ID and fingerscan will be required to enter the park in order to validate member identification.
Ticket may not be copied, transferred, or resold. The ticket is only valid for the person listed on it (you will be asked to enter the ticket holder's name).
Not valid for Halloween Horror Nights or any events requiring separate admission.
Park, lands, attractions or entertainment subject to change or closure, including for capacity, refurbishing, weather, force majeure, and special events.

Pass Members who lost their passes should be directed to any ticket booth at Universal Studios Hollywood where a replacement of their Annual Pass will be printed.
There is currently no fee to replace lost passes, but this is subject to change. Pass Members must show valid photo I.D.
Parking benefits apply if valid photo I.D. matches the name on the lost pass. Should verification not be possible, the Pass Member would have to pay general parking rates.

Upgrades / Renewals

Season Passes are not renewable.
Annual/Season Pass Members can purchase "Upgrade Express" tickets at the park. Prices vary by date.
Guests with already activated Passes that want to upgrade must be directed to the park for assistance. In instances where the ticket hasn't been activated, Guests are able to call 1 (800) 864-8377 - (opt. 5) in order to upgrade the ticket type before it's been used.
Any ticket/pass can be upgraded to any ANNUAL pass. Upgrading into an Annual Pass will use the Front Gate Pricing for the product, never the online pricing.
Regardless of the product being upgraded, only the cost of the admission portion will apply to the upgrade. For example, if a Guest is attempting to upgrade from a Universal Express to an Annual Pass, the only amount that is applicable would be the base admission price.
Universal Studios Hollywood Annual Passes on FlexPay will renew on a month-to-month basis after the first year. These passes will be automatically reprinted on the Guest's next visit with updated details (such as Blockout Calendar IDs).

Annual Pass Renewal Program

Universal Studios Hollywood is introducing an all-new Annual Pass Renewal Program.

Pass Members can save 15% when they renew their expiring Annual Pass or upgrade their expiring Season Pass to a Silver, Gold or Platinum Pass.

How to Renew

Pass Members can renew their Pass in the following two ways:

By Phone via Universal’s Guest Contact Center 1-800-Universal, option 5

Annual Pass renewal discount is not available for online purchase.

When to Renew

Pass Members are eligible to renew at this price starting 30 days prior to their current Pass expiration date*, up to 60 days after their Pass expiration date.

*The expiration date is set 12 months after the Pass Member's selected first visit date

Pass Members who renew their Pass prior to their Pass expiration date should retain their current pass and use that pass until it expires. Their new Pass will activate upon entry at the time of first use of that new pass. The new pass's expiration date will be 12 months from the 1st date used.
Guests can visit on any day with their new renewed pass. There are no blackout dates for the first visit.

Purchases before or after that validity window will be at normal rates.

Eligible Annual Passes

Silver, Gold, and Platinum Annual Pass Members can renew their Passes at the same level or choose to upgrade to a higher-level pass.
Members may also choose to downgrade to a Gold or Silver Pass if they choose.
This offer is not available to renew a California Neighbor Pass. However, Costco Season/California Neighbor Pass Members can upgrade into Platinum, Gold, or Silver Annual Passes at the discounted renewal rate.
The Annual Pass renewal discount is not available for purchases using FlexPay. Current FlexPay members can either opt-out of auto-renewal at the end of their first-year contract or at any time during their month-month period and then choose to pay in full for a new pass at the renewal rate.

Renewal Offer Terms & Conditions

First visit valid only on selected date (No blackout dates apply for first visit).
The renewal discount will not affect any product benefits or blackout calendars.
Offers are non-exchangeable.
The renewal discount cannot be combined with any other discounts, offers, promotions, or prior purchases.
Passes are non-refundable and rebates are not available.
