Guests can experience Loews Sapphire Falls Resort’s rum dinner. Their evening begins with a reception at 6pm with light hors d’oeuvres, rum samplings and entertainment before being seated inside Amatista’s private dining room for an expertly prepared five-course dinner paired with select, crafted Caribbean rums. Each culinary pairing will be presented by the hotel’s award-winning chefs and rum ambassadors. Following dinner, they’ll join us on Amatista’s outdoor waterfall patio for an afterglow with cigar roller, coffee and a preview of our next event’s featured rum.

Strong Water Tavern takes guests on the voyage of rum – from its origins to its role in North American history; from the age of exploration to the drink you hold in your hand. Guests are taken on a tour of the Caribbean through tastings of rum and offer suggestions for pairing with food. Each guest’s experience is customized to their preference.
