Guests enjoy a full day tour of Los Angeles’ top attractions with complimentary pick-up and drop-off at their Universal Studios Hollywood Partner Hotel.

  • All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  All prices are TAX inclusive
 
Entitlements
  • Complimentary pick-up and drop-off at guest's eligible Universal Studios Hollywood Partner Hotel
  • Tour provided by a driver/guide with navigational expertise and insider knowledge
  • Eliminates parking fees, tolls and gas.
  • 7.5 hour city tour includes 6 major sightseeing stops plus much more:
  • Santa Monica Pier
  • Venice Beach
  • Beverly Hills / Rodeo Dr
  • The Famous Farmer’s Market at the Grove for lunch
  • Griffith Park
  • Hollywood Blvd
  • Destination stops are around 30-40 minutes
  • Stops are self-guided with an informative map that is provided to all guests.
  • The guide will provide ample information and is happy to answer any questions guests have before exiting the vehicle at the destination stops.
  • Between stops, the knowledgeable guide will give guests fun facts and information about all areas visited throughout the day.
 
A Day in LA Tours is fully insured and licensed by the state regulatory agency the California Public Utilities Commission (TCP# 27663). You can search for a company’s passenger carrier license on the California PUC website.
 
Reservations, Redemption, Restrictions
 
Reservation Requirements
Tour Reservations:
  • ​Guests are required to make reservations forty-eight (48) hours prior to the tour's start date.
  • ​Upon receipt of their E-Travel Document, guests must call (818) 538-6287 or email [email protected] to confirm their tour information and discuss pick-up procedures.
  • ​A pre-arranged pick-up window from the guest's eligible Universal Studios Hollywood Partner Hotel will be assigned based upon their reserved tour date and schedule.
 
Redemption Requirements
Tour Pickup
  • ​Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated pick-up area fifteen (15) minutes prior to scheduled pick-up time.
  • Tours must adhere to a strict schedule. Therefore, we are not responsible for guests who are not at the designated pick-up area on time and miss their tour as a result.
  • ​Guests can be rebooked for free on a later date due to a missed pick-up.​
 
Guest Responsibility
  • ​Guests are responsible to pay for their own lunches.
  • Lunch is not included and may be purchased during the lunch stop at The Original Farmers Market at The Grove. ​
  • Water is provided throughout the tour.
  • Lunch is usually around an hour or longer, based on busier days.
  • Guests are responsible to pay price of admission at any attraction/museum on a stop.​
 
Modifications/Refunds
  • ​NO REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DEPARTURE.
  • ​Guests should contact tour company to reschedule their tour as soon as possible, subject to availability.​
  • Guests can modify their tour date by contacting the tour provider by calling 818-538-6287 a minimum of 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE
 
Restrictions
  • ​Tour stops are based on availability at time of tour and may be excluded for reasons beyond the tour drivers control which may include, but is not limited to; acts of nature; major traffic delays or road closures due to unforeseen circumstances or other relevant incidents.
  • Additional restrictions may apply and are subject to change without notice.
 
Pickup/Dropoff Locations
 
  • Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated pick-up area fifteen (15) minutes prior to scheduled pickup time.
  • Universal Studios Hollywood Partner Hotel pick up time begins at 7:15am.
  • Guests will be dropped off at the same location they were picked up from.
  • Tours will be departing from 1445 4th St, Santa Monica, CA 90401 by 9:45am.

Additional Information
 
When to Book
  • ​Guest should be recommended to book as early as possible. During popular travel times (summer, spring break, winter holidays and breaks) tours do sell out every day, often well in advance.​
     
Traveling with an Infant
  • ​Once a guest has booked the tour, they should call 818-538-6287 or email [email protected] to notify that an infant will be accompanying the party.
  • ​Guests are strongly encouraged to bring a car seat for Lap Babies. A Day in LA can provide child safety seats or booster seats; requests must be made in advance.​
 
ADA Accessibility
  • ​Handicapped accessible vehicles are available upon request.
  • ​Due to a limited quantity of handicapped accessible vehicles; once the guests have booked the tour they would need to call 818-538-6287 during the hours of operation to secure an accessible vehicle. Guests should specify whether an accessible vehicle is required or if a service animal will be accompanying them.​
 
Limited Seating
  • Seats are first-come-first-serve and it is not guaranteed that guests will be seated next to their party.
  • ​All groups booked together will be placed on the same bus.
  • ​If the guests have 2 or more reservations for their group they should call 818-538-6287 or email [email protected] to notify after booking so their group can be placed on the same bus.​
 
Luggage Restrictions
  • The buses are small and designed for passenger transport only so luggage or strollers cannot be accommodated. Daypacks are fine and are encouraged.
  • We do not store luggage.
