General Parking

Payment Methods: Cash, Credit/Debit cards, Apple/Google Pay and Traveler's Checks

General parking is paid at the parking booth at time of entry and is available at both entrances, Universal Hollywood Drive and Universal Studios Boulevard.

Vehicles CAN leave the parking garage/lot and return the same day by stopping at the toll plaza upon re-entry and presenting their parking ticket. This does not apply to Valet as it is based on time parked.

^{^}AMC General Parking: Offer is valid only at Universal Cinema at CityWalk Hollywood. Offer is for one time use and must be surrendered at time of redemption. To receive their $5 parking, guests must present their General Parking receipt at the Universal Cinema ticket window. Parking Locations

ADA Parking

Accessible parking is available in all of the parking structures on a first-come, first-served basis.

RV/Bus/Limo Parking

Guests arriving via Universal Studios Blvd, will enter through the ET Garage and be directed down to the basement which is reserved for our oversized vehicles(RV/Bus/Limo/Semi Truck, etc.) and can handle buses and RV’s of all sizes.

Guests arriving via Universal Hollywood Drive, will be directed to our outdoor Woody Woodpecker Lot and escorted to an oversized RV space.

Bicycle Parking/Racks

There are two locations for bicycle parking. One is on level B1 at the ET parking garage. The second one is in Palm Court, adjacent to the MTA shuttle stop.

Parking Height Restrictions

Parking garages have an accessible (ADA) parking clearance of 8'2" which is typically on level 1, all other clearances are 6'6".

Valet Parking

Valet Parking is located in the Jurassic Parking Garage off of Universal Studios Blvd. Guests can access this area from both of our entry points at either Universal Studios Blvd. and Universal Hollywood Drive.

Directions to Valet Parking

From Universal Studios Blvd – Stay in left lane and drive directly into Jurassic Valet.
From Universal Hollywood Drive – Drive straight until arrive at the Tollbooths. Tollbooth team will place a valet flyer and guest will be directed to the Jurassic Valet entrance.

Valet does not allow in & out privileges. If a guest were to leave and return to Valet, they’d be issued a new claim ticket and the hourly valet rates would restart.

Parking Height Restrictions

Vehicles must be listed at 7'8" and below to be accommodated in Valet Parking.

Guest Pick-Up or Drop-Off

There are 2 pick-up/drop-off locations at Universal Studios Hollywood:

Universal Studios Hollywood Park Entrance

This is a 15-minute drop-off and pick-up area across from the Universal Studios Hollywood entrance for guests planning on heading straight into the park, or just leaving the park and looking to get picked up.

Near the entrance fountain on the right-hand side (as guests exit the park).

ET Parking Garage

This is perfect for guests who are looking to grab a bite to eat or go shopping before/after visiting the park.

At the far end of CityWalk

Guests would have to walk through CityWalk to get to the park).

Electric Vehicles

Universal Studios Hollywood has Chargepoint electric vehicle (EV) charging stations located in our various parking garages.

Parking Hours

Parking Tolls/Valet open 2 hours prior to Universal Studios Hollywood‘s opening hours and close when CityWalk closes. The garages/lots themselves do not close, so guests can exit at any time. Overnight parking is not allowed.

Universal Studios Hollywood is less than 1 hour from Disneyland.

1. Take the 5 Golden State Freeway North.

2. Exit to the 101 Hollywood Freeway North.

3. Continue on the 101 Freeway and exit at Universal Studios Blvd.

4. Turn right onto Universal Studios Blvd. and follow the signs to Universal Studios and our parking areas.

From Los Angeles International Airport:

Universal Studios Hollywood is about 50 minutes from LAX.

1. Follow signs from the terminal to the 105 Freeway. Take the 105 Freeway East to the 110 Harbor Freeway North.

2. After passing through the downtown area, get on the 101 Hollywood Freeway North.

3. Continue on the 101 Freeway and exit at Universal Studios Blvd.

4. Turn right onto Universal Studios Blvd. and follow the signs to Universal Studios and our parking areas.

From Hollywood:

Universal Studios Hollywood is about 20 minutes from West Hollywood.

1. Take the 101 Hollywood Freeway North to Universal Studios Blvd.

2. Turn right onto Universal Studios Blvd. and follow the signs to Universal Studios and our parking areas.

From Santa Monica:

Universal Studios Hollywood is about 40 minutes from the Santa Monica Pier.

1. Take the 10 Santa Monica Freeway East to the 405 Freeway North.

2. Exit to the 101 Ventura Freeway East/South. (Signs to Los Angeles)

3. Continue on the 101 Freeway and exit on Lankershim Blvd.

4. Turn right.

5. Continue right under the freeway overpass. Universal Studios will be on the right side.

From San Diego:

Universal Studios Hollywood is about 2.5 hours from San Diego, CA.

1. Take the 5 Golden State Freeway North. Exit to the 101 Hollywood Freeway North.

2. Continue on the 101 Freeway and exit at Universal Studios Blvd.

3. Turn right on to Universal Studios Blvd. and follow the signs to Universal Studios Hollywood.

From Santa Barbara:

Universal Studios Hollywood is about 1.5 hours from Santa Barbara, CA.

1. Take the 101 Hollywood Freeway North to Universal Studios Blvd.

2. Turn right on Lankershim Blvd and follow the signs to Universal Studios Hollywood.

Metro Pedestrian Bridge

The Metro pedestrian bridge, located at the corner of Lankershim and Universal Hollywood Drive, provides safe and easy access from the Universal City Red Line and Bus Stations to Universal Studios Hollywood.

Free Universal Shuttle

This free shuttle will take guests to the main entrances of Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk Hollywood.

Location: Across from the subway station.
The shuttle service runs 7 days a week, with pick-ups approximately every 10-15 minutes.
The shuttle service begins at 7am every morning. Service continues until approximately 2 hours after the theme park closes. Guests should refer to the posted times at each shuttle stop for information on the last departing shuttle.

Complimentary Tram Accessibility: The Front Hill shuttle is wheelchair accessible and requires Guests to be able to transfer out of an ECV. For full accommodations, there is a Team Member available to assist.
