Virtual Line at Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry™

A Virtual Line return time is required to experience Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry™. A standby line will not be offered. Guests should ensure they download our App before they arrive to view important details and to get a return time during their visit. View FAQs below.

This attraction and our Virtual Line system are in technical rehearsal, and some elements may not be available during this time. Virtual Line return times are limited and subject to availability.

Virtual Line makes the Guest’s wait for select experiences easier and more enjoyable. Once they’re in the park, they can use the Universal Orlando Resort App to select a return time in place of a regular line. Until then, Guests can explore all of the other fun offerings!

Before Guests Arrive

Getting a Virtual Line return time is simple once a Guest is in the park, and they can make it even easier by preparing beforehand. A Guest should complete the following steps and they'll be that much closer to the fun!

  •     Guests can start by signing into their Universal Account (or creating one if they haven’t already). They won’t be able to get Virtual Line return times without being signed in.

  •     Guests can link their tickets or Annual Passes to their Universal Account and set up their Travel Party. Connecting everyone will make it possible to get Virtual Line return times together.

  •     If they haven’t already, Guests should make sure to download the Universal Orlando Resort App. That’s the easiest place to find Virtual Line return times and select one for their group.

Using Virtual Line Once Guests are in the Park

Once they’ve completed the simple pre-arrival steps and arrived at the park, now it’s time to put it all together and gear up with a Virtual Line return time.

  •     Once they’re in the park where their desired experience is located, Guests will need to open the Universal Orlando Resort App and sign into their Universal Account (Virtual Line is not available if they’re outside the park).

  •     Next, they will choose the Travel Party members they would like to include on their Virtual Line return time. Keep in mind, if someone isn’t in their Travel Party, they won’t be able to join the return time with the Guest.

  •     Finally, Guests will choose from available return times to secure their spot! Their return time isn’t confirmed until they see the success screen, so they need to make sure that they don’t close out too soon. Spots are limited, so a Guest should not wait!
