Guest Information & Services (UOR)

 
 
 
Guest Services (Phone) is located to the right of each theme park gate prior to entering.  Please visit Guest Services (Phone) at either park for the following:
  • Special dining assistance
  • Guests with disabilities: Written disability guides, TDD, assistive listening devices, and Captioning services
  • Foreign language maps: French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish
  • Lost children
  • Studio production information (inside Universal Studios® only)
 
 
Passenger Drop-off and Pick-up
 
Guests can be dropped off and picked up at the Transportation Center located beneath the rotunda of the parking structure. Just follow the signs to Bus parking and Guest drop-Off area upon entering.
 
 
Transportation Assistance
 
Taxis, buses, limousines, and shuttles to Hotels and other area destinations are available at the Transportation Center.  For return scheduling information, contact the Guest services office.
 
Banking
 
Universal Orlando has on-site automatic teller Machines (ATMs) throughout the resort in the theme parks and Universal CityWalk®.

Baggage at Dry Parks
 
Guests who arrive with baggage will be required to process luggage through security and metal detectors. If the bag's cannot fit into the metal dectector, guests must agree to allow security inspect bags manually. 
 
Gusts can take baggage to Lost & Found department within the theme park entrance to have them stored for the day (fees may apply).
 
 
First Aid
 
At Universal Studios Florida, a First Aid Station is located at Family Services, located near the Studio Audience Center at the front of the park. The main Health Services station is located on Canal Street between the New York Street Set and the San Francisco Street Set, right across from Fast & Furious: Supercharged.
                                           
At Universal's Islands of Adventure, First Aid is located inside the Guest Services Lobby, just to the right of the main entrance turnstiles. The main Health Services station is in Sindbad's Village within The Lost Continent. Look for the Red Cross across from Oasis Coolers.
 
Both parks are able to accommodate medications that require refrigeration.
 
 
Child Swap / Family Room
 
​These areas are available at most attractions, at each park, which allows one member of your party to wait in a designated area along with any children who are unable or unwilling to participate. Once the rest of your group is off the ride, just trade places and take your seat on the ride while those who rode previously stay with the child(ren). Smoking Areas
 
In accordance with Florida Amendment 6, all restaurants and bars that serve food are smoke-free areas. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
For your convenience, there are currently 5 smoking areas at Universal's CityWalk, 6 smoking areas at Universal's Islands of Adventure and 8 at Universal Studios. All other areas outside of these are smoke free.

Nursing Facilities / Companion Restrooms
 
Nursing facilities and a companion restroom are available at Family Services, located to the right of Lost & Found in Universal Studios Florida, at First Aid in Universal's Islands of Adventure, at the Health Services main station located on Canal Street in the New York area in Universal Studios Florida, and in the First Aid Station at Universal's Volcano Bay. Diaper-changing facilities are available at all restrooms. 
While CityWalk and Islands of Adventure do not have family/companion restrooms, guests can use the larger ADA stalls that have the capacity to service a guest and companion.

Kennel Boarding
Universal Orlando offers a day time kennel for dogs and cats. (No native or exotic species are allowed in the kennels.)
  • Proof of The following vaccinations are required before boarding your dog or cat:
  • Dogs: Rabies, Bordetella (bord-te-llah) and D.H.P.P.
  • Cats: Rabies, Calicivirus (ca-lee-cee-vee-ruhs), Panleukopenia
    (pan-loo-kuh-pee-nee-uh) and Rhinotrachetitis (rie-noh-trak-tie-tees)
  • All of the shots must be listed along with expiration dates.
  • A document with the required Kennel Vaccinations is provided when boarding a pet.

First-come, first-served basis charge of $15.00* per pet, per day–no reservations required or accepted​. *Prices subject to change​.
 
The kennel opens at 8:00am. The kennel is locked and unattended two hours after the latest theme park closes, however, dogs and cats can stay at the kennel until 3:00am. After the kennel is locked, you will use a phone that is located outside of the kennel and someone will come by to assist you.
 
All dogs weighing 39 pounds and more will be boarded in an outside kennel. The outside kennels are completely covered and there are fans. The outside cages are 7' x 4' and made of chain link fencing with a cement floor.
 
All cats and dogs weighing 38 pounds and less will be boarded in an inside kennel with A/C. The kennels are 3' x 2 1/2' and have solid metal sides, top and bottom with a chain link front.
 
You may bring food, blankets and toys to make them feel at home. The kennel attendant will supply water and a clean and safe kennel. Guest(s) should plan to return to take their pet for a walk at least once during the day.
 
Directions: At the intersection of Universal Blvd and Hollywood way follow the signs for parking. After you go through the toll plaza, follow the signs to the RV and Camper parking lot. Park on the left side and the kennel is on the corner. 
 
 
Foreign Language Assistant
 
Foreign language maps (in French, Japanese, Spanish, German, and Portuguese) and assistance for our non-english-speaking visitors are available at the Guest services office in either park.
 
Guests may also refer to the monthly Universal Orlando or CityWalk times & information brochures located in various languages at the entrance to each theme  park.
 
 
Lost Children / Lost Parents
 
Please direct our guests who have mislocated their children (or children who have lost their parents) or other party members to report to the Guest services office at either theme park or Universal CityWalk®.
 
 
 
Guest Safety and Convenience
 
Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times. Any piece of clothing with any obscene words, statements, or designs will not be permitted in the park.  Smoking is not allowed inside any attraction or waiting area. You must secure all loose articles (sunglasses, cameras, hats) in lockers provided adjacent to revenge of the Mummy®, Men in Black Alien Attack, Dragon Challenge, the Incredible Hulk Coaster® and Jurassic Park River Adventure®, or leave them with a non-rider.  You may not leave them at the load area of the ride.
 
 
Payment Methods at Restaurants and Merchandise Locations
 
We accept five different methods of payment at Universal Orlando. They are as follows:

  • Checks drawn on U.S. bank account
  • Universal Orlando approved vouchers*

Postal Services
 
Guests can purchase U.S. postage stamps (from a machine) and deposit their mail at the locker area near the exit turnstiles.
 
 
Telephones
 
Pay telephones are conveniently located throughout Universal Orlando near the restrooms, at the First aid station, and next to Guest services. For our hearing-impaired guests, a text telephone (TDD) is located in each park at the Guest services offices, and pay telephones with amplification devices are also available.
