Sets at Universal Studios®, you're right in the heart of a real working movie and television production studio. Universal Studios is the country's largest motion picture studio outside of Hollywood. More than a dozen feature films, over 500 TV episodes and countless commercials and music videos have been shot at Universal Studios since the facility opened in 1989. Walk the bustling sidewalks of Manhattan, or explore the glamorous shops of Beverly Hills, or do a little star-gazing on Hollywood Boulevard. With our hectic production schedules, there's something happening every minute. Universal Studios Entrance - Highlight to your customer that Universal Orlando Resort has two theme parks located side by side and less than a 4 minute walking distance between theme park entrances.
 
Guest Services is located in front of both theme park entrances and guests can secure assistance with any question or need they may have.  Guest Services also provides a complimentary Riders Guide to assist guests understand the details of each ride.

Hogwarts™ Express
The sound of the whistle blowing signals that it's time for you to take a journey on the Hogwarts™ Express. With a park-to-park admission ticket, you can climb aboard and travel between King’s Cross Station (located at Universal Studios Florida) and Hogsmeade™ Station (located at Universal’s Islands of Adventure), enjoying a unique experience along each leg of the journey as you travel between the two locations. Once aboard, you will see views of London and the British countryside outside the train windows, while encountering different characters and creatures from the Harry Potter™ films.
  • Guests will need to exit train at each destination
  • Universal Express Pass will not be valid for the Hogwarts Express
  • No single riders line available

This action-packed special effects show places guests in the world of Universal Pictures’ Bourne Series where they will be surrounded by loud noises and fire effects. Due to the intense nature of this attraction, parental discretion is advised.
 
Everything guests have come to expect from the action-packed Bourne film franchise – thrilling chase scenes, punishing fistfights, death-defying leaps and danger at every turn – happens onstage in front of them with live performers, high-tech props and an immense LED screen, making it impossible for the eye to discern where the live action ends and the cinema begins.
 
Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles), a Treadstone operative who is Jason Bourne’s main confidant in the films, briefs guests on their mission prior to the start of The Bourne Stuntacular.​

This retro restaurant serves up delicious diner fare that never goes out of style. Guests can step in for a sweet surprise and a little taste of yesteryear. This retro shop gives a nod to the original Sunset Boulevard hangout where movie industry bigwigs (and Hollywood hopefuls) rubbed elbows in the 1930s and beyond.
 
The smell of warm waffle cones welcomes guests at the door as they waver between frosty milkshakes, malts, banana splits, soft serve yogurts, and classic sundaes. Guests enter Gringotts™ bank at the far end of Diagon Alley™ and walk through the grand marble lobby where they’ll see goblins hard at work. Then, they'll take a journey through the cavernous passageways that lead deep underground as they climb aboard the groundbreaking, multi-dimensional thrill ride. This incredibly immersive ride puts guests right in the middle of the action as they navigate their way through the perils of the Gringotts vaults – encountering Harry, Ron and Hermione along the way!
 
Universal’s creative team worked hand-in-hand with Stuart Craig and his production team from the Harry Potter™ films to immerse guests in this pivotal scene from the final Harry Potter™ book and film.
 
This ride is a high-speed roller coaster that has sudden and dramatic acceleration and dropping. The movement of the vehicle also includes spinning, sudden stops and strong tilting and jarring actions.

  •     Tour Gringotts™ bank and pass through the marble hall where guests will see goblins hard at work
  •     Race through a labyrinth of underground Gringotts™ vaults
  •     Encounter the villainous Death Eater, Bellatrix Lestrange, as she attempts to send guests to their doom
  •     Come face to face with He Who Must Not Be Named
  •     Experience even more mind-blowing moments
Operational Details
 
  •     The height requirement is 42” to ride with an adult and 48” to ride alone.
        Test seating will be available outside of the attraction for guests to try before entering the queue.
  •     Single riders line available
  •     Ride is accessible via transfer for guests with wheelchairs and ECVs
        Guests will need to transfer from their ECV to a wheelchair while in the queue and will need to transfer from the wheelchair to the ride vehicle at the load station.
  •     Loose articles are not permitted. Free lockers are available during a visit to this ride.
  •     There is not a walking tour of the Gringotts™ bank.

  • Guests will get to ride the legendary train and enjoy a completely immersive experience that combines themed sets, live special effects, and life-like animation to create the journey of a lifetime.
  • Guests will experience a similar journey as Harry and his friends did in the books and films, including passing through the brick wall in King’s Cross Station to arrive at Platform 9 ¾™.
  • The Hogwarts™ Express offers an experience that the entire family can enjoy, with two completely different experiences while traveling from King’s Cross Station to Hogsmeade Station, and back.

Operational Details
 
  •     King’s Cross Station is in London (Universal Studios Florida), which is outside of Diagon Alley™. Guests must exit the train station and then enter Diagon Alley™.
  •     Hogsmeade™ Station is located outside of the Hogsmeade™ arch (Universal Islands of Adventure).
  •     Guests will have to exit the train at each destination. They will NOT be able to stay onboard for a roundtrip experience.
  •     Each train cabin holds 8 people, including infants. Parties over 8 will be split. Parties of less than 8 will sit in the same cabin as other parties that contain less than 8 guests and will not be allowed their own cabin.
  •     The Hogwarts™ Express is wheelchair and ECV accessible. Guests may bring strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs on the train.
        Protocol for wheelchair/ECV: Guests may need to transfer from their ECV to a wheelchair to experience the entire queue. They will reunite with their ECV on the platform before boarding the train.
  •     Food and drinks in closed containers, including souvenir cups, and merchandise, including larger items, are allowed on the train.
  •     Articles left on the train or at either of the train stations will be transferred to the nearest Lost & Found location.

This musical performance features the ever-popular singing sensation of the Wizarding World, known from the books as Molly Weasley’s favorite singer, who she listens to on the Wizarding Wireless Network. The swinging show features never-before heard songs including, “A Cauldron Full Of Hot, Strong Love,” “You Stole My Cauldron But You Can’t Have My Heart” and “You Charmed The Heart Right Out Of Me”. These titles were all created by J.K. Rowling and the lyrics also include never-before-revealed information on Celestina’s wand from Pottermore.

Action Show
 
This stage show takes place within Carkitt Market, a covered, outdoor shopping area inspired by London’s famous markets. The show features a troupe of four from the Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts who have set up to perform a trunk show using stylized scenic pieces, props and puppetry fabricated by Emmy-award-winning designer Michael Curry. Curry is best known as the production designer on projects including the 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremony and the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show. The performers retell two of the famed tales of Beedle the Bard, a 15th-century author of wizarding fairytales. The show features “The Fountain of Fair Fortune”, in which three witches and a knight meet in their attempt to reach the Fountain in an enchanted garden, and “The Tale of the Three Brothers” – featured in the seventh film “Harry Potter™ and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1” – in which three wizard brothers come face to face with Death.

The iconic three-story, purple Knight Bus was inspired by its first appearance in the third film, “Harry Potter™ and the Prisoner of Azkaban.”

The Leaky Cauldron™ is a small, grubby-looking pub and inn. In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry stayed there for several weeks over the summer before heading off to Hogwarts™ for his third year.
 
Leaky Cauldron™ is a "pub style" restaurant. Guests enter the restaurant and walk through a queue to order their food. They are then seated by a host and their food is brought out to them by a food runner.

Guests can join Illumination’s Minions and blast their way to supervillain stardom at Villain-Con, as the world’s largest convention for villains from around the globe returns to Orlando. The villainous supergroup the Vicious 6, from Illumination’s blockbuster hit Minions: The Rise of Gru, have set up a special challenge at Villain-Con to find their newest member. This is our guests’ chance to prove just how bad they really are! They’ll pick up their interactive, E-Liminator X blasters and glide along a moving walkway. Around every turn guests will encounter one of the members of the Vicious 6, such as Belle Bottom, Jean Clawed, Svengeance and more – as they blast away and put their skills to the ultimate test to earn more points. Guests can use their blaster, equipped with a variety of unique rays like Freeze Ray, Banana Bombs, and Explosive Nunchucks to cause damage and destruction while gathering fun collectibles along the way.

Best of all, Villain-Con Minion Blast is the first Universal Orlando attraction to feature a connected gameplay experience via The Official Universal Orlando Resort App. By syncing their blaster to the app with just a tap, guests can sync their phones to their blasters to track their score, customize preferences, opt into special missions, unlock evil perks and extra powerful blasts to help them gain more points and earn digital collectibles. Villain-Con Minion Blast combines innovative screen technology, state-of-the-art gaming interactivity and elaborate physical sets to create a one-of-a-kind, game-based adventure. The experience is not in 3-D.
 
This is a handheld blaster challenge along a moving walkway that includes loud noises and low-lighting conditions.
 
Location: Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast is located right across from Despicable Me Minion Mayhem (in the location formerly used for Shrek 4-D).

Minions are a part of the attraction – we can’t have a diabolical, mischief-filled experience without the Minions!
 
The Vicious 6 are a notorious group of supervillains from the hit film, “Minions: The Rise of Gru.” As guests wind and glide through the experience aboard a moving pathway, they’ll encounter each member of the Vicious 6, voiced by the original cast from the film, in a setting inspired by their character, including:
 
    Belle Bottom - the cool, confident leader of the Vicious 6, in a groovy disco
    Stronghold – named after his giant iron hands – in a museum filled with tons of fragile and priceless art just waiting to be destroyed
   Nun-Chuck - a fierce warrior with prized nun-chucks who will travel aboard her flying organ as she challenges guests to create musical mayhem
    Jean Clawed – outfitted with a giant mechanical lobster claw – in an evil, underwater lair filled with hidden loot and robotic sea creatures
    Svengeance - the roller-skating champion with spiked skates, in a floating roller derby filled with blimps, jumbo-trons, and speed-skating robots

  •     Guests must be able to transition between stationary platform and a moving walkway while entering and exiting the interactive experience.
  •     Guests should be able to remain standing on the moving walkway while maintaining an upright position.

  • This is a handheld blaster challenge along a moving walkway that includes loud noises and low-lighting conditions. The moving walkway contains shifting floor plates with gaps, adequate floor space and side barriers throughout.

The more guests play and the higher they score, the more perks and bragging rights they’ll earn. Plus, this digital experience connects to the visitor’s Universal Guest Account within the Universal Orlando app – unlocking a deeper connection that enhances their in-park experience and sets the stage for even more digital-to-physical world benefits.

User Questions
 
How to Access the Connected Gameplay?
 
Guests using version 1.55 or later will be able to access connected gameplay from the home screen of the Universal Orlando App and via QR code located on Villain-Con Team Member lanyards. Additional entry points are planned in a future update. To get started in learning about or launching the game, guests should tap the connected gameplay card on the home screen.
 
Guests also do not have to be signed in to a UOR App account to experience the connected gameplay within the attraction, although it is highly encouraged since it will allow them to save their progress.
 
How does synching your blaster work?
 
Guests can select the “Sync Blaster” option within the game which will bring up a prompt to tap and sync. Once synced, details from the player profile, including blaster configurations and final scores will be available. Once a blaster has been synced in the pickup area, guests should securely put away their device to safely enjoy and experience the attraction. Scores, Collectibles and achievements will be reflected in their app soon after they’ve dropped off their blaster and left the attraction.
 
Guests can enjoy the attraction without syncing a player profile to their blaster. Scores cannot be retroactively added if a blaster was not synced on a previous visit to the attraction.
 
How do player profiles work within the app?
 
When opening the game for the first time, a player profile is automatically created and can be customized at any point. For guests wishing to use multiple profiles on a single device, it is recommended these are created before entering the queue area. There is a maximum of five player profiles on a device. This allows multiple members of a Guest's party to use one phone to sync their blasters for connected gameplay.
 
Guests can edit their player name, player icon and background color at any time. This can be done by tapping on the profile avatar at the top center or by selecting the “Options” icon in the bottom right corner of the game. The ability to delete a player profile is not available at this time.

  • ​As they set foot into the renowned NBC Studios, guests get a front row seat to witness the most significant moments in the history of the zeitgeist of American pop culture as they travel through the 62-year evolution of “The Tonight Show.”
     
  • ​In The Tonight Show lobby, guests get VIP access to NBC Studios. Each guest will be issued a colored card that matches one of the feathers in the NBC logo. They’ll get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see real props and set pieces from one of the longest-running shows in television history – everything from actual suits and desk props of past and present hosts to NBC video cameras used to record the show to cue cards used in past episodes. When the color of the lights around the lobby change to match the guest’s card, it’s time to head upstairs to Studio 6B and get ready to race.

Guests enter Mama Luna’s house and get to play with Mama Luna’s hundreds of cats by using interactive buttons, bells, maracas, cranks, levers, tracking balls to make balls of yarn, mouse toys, and more. This is a free-flowing experience, and the cats are shown via an interactive screen. Puss in Boots makes intermittent appearances and says a few lines.

The tiniest Trolls will have a blast bouncing around and swinging on tiny mushroom swings in the midst of Trolls flowers.
 
Poppy's Playground is a small play area for younger Guests (1-3 years old) full of fun play structures to bounce around. There are flowers with faces on them from the movies, but no characters.
 
This area is nestled under a giant, 20-foot mushroom that provides a shady play area featuring colorful flowers and bugs.Play Area
Po's Kung Fu Trainnig Camp

Guests can strike a gong to create a variety of zany sounds and make the ground shake. Get soaked by pandas as they help them wash and dry their laundry. And twirl on Mr. Ping’s spinning noodle bowls.
 
This play area is inspired by the Panda Village from the film Kung Fu Panda 3.
 
The wet play includes water jets and buckets. In the dry area, there are baby panda sculptures on the roof with recorded giggles as they splash Guests.
 
Mr. Ping’s noodles create a fun play space where Guests can go on manually spun merry-go-round noodle bowls and make sounds with random noodle “spinners” hanging from above.
 
There is also a sculpture of Mr. Ping with intermittent recorded dialogue.

Kang & Kodo's Twirl 'n' Hurl
 
Guests pilot their very own flying saucer, swooping up and down as they circle one of the animated alien fiends from Rigel 7. They’re starring in their own Treehouse of Horror alongside outer space’s most famous slimy, green creature. And while they’re spinning, they'll say hello to many of their favorite Springfield citizens as they try to fry them with lasers. It’s good ol’ Questorian Radium Belt family fun.
 
This is a circular motion gondola ride. Guests fly their spaceship towards the targets to make them spin.
